Just a stone's throw from the beach at Rio Uruguay, we indulged in a delightful continental breakfast each morning, which set a positive tone for the day—a perfect fuel for my family and me as we explored nearby NP El Palmar, only a 40-minute drive away. The complimentary WiFi allowed us to stay connected while enjoying the serene garden views from our room, making it an ideal getaway for eco-conscious travelers like myself who value both relaxation and sustainability. Portón Rojo effortlessly blends comfort with charming local history, making it a gem I would highly recommend for anyone seeking an enriching experience in nature.
